WHO: Paddlers of the Valley Wide Kayak Club from the Hemet-San Jacinto Valley as well as other clubs and communities.

WHAT: Kayakers will be paddling across beautiful Lake Hemet, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a .m. Kayakers and club members will participate in a variety of fun activities and exhibitions throughout the day.   Over the past years, the Valley Wide Kayak Club has raised over $75,000 for Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times.

WHERE: Lake Hemet is located on Highway 74 in Garner Valley 25 miles east of Hemet and 35 miles west of Palm Desert.

WHY: To raise money for Camp Ronald McDonald for Good Times which brightens the lives of over 1,000 kids with cancer and their families each year as they spend time outdoors and away from hospitals enjoying friendships, fun and adventure. The actual cost of sending a child to a week of camp is now $1,000. Therefore, our goal is to raise funds to send as many kids to camp as possible.
